Been there...done that!
Yes, I have bought and
sold some personal real estate holdings on my own. I have always used
"FSBO" as a last resort and only after local real estate "Professionals" in the
area either:
*failed to perform
*didn't know the
difference between earning a commission...and
taking a commission!
*didn't know the meaning of "conscience" or "excellence"
*seemed to disappear after you signed the listing agreement
*the only time you saw
your listing agent was when he (or she) accidentally
drove by your location as they test drove their new Hummer.
*thought that "fiduciary duty" was the reason why they had to go to a wedding
*thought that "fidelity" and "trust" were just overused names of banks
*didn't seem to listen (or care) when you pointed out features/benefits of your property
*or, in the case of the
above 5-15-03 photo, they were so awash in a sea of unearned fees
that they didn't even return calls or keep appointments to list my property!!!!!!!
You have every right to try to find a buyer for your property on your own.
I have!
I can offer private property owners an opportunity to advertise their property on this website. Your property will be flagged with "FSBO" and placed with all of the other listings on this site! Your ad will have an email link to you, phone number, address, or other contact info you decide to include, or exclude. The minimum fee will be $60 for a 60 day run. That fee includes your web page setup.
During your first month you will also be listed in a special "New Listing"
section in the very first page of the site. A photo and link to your
individual page will appear below this listing. This is an added feature
that you receive during the first 60 days on the site. Additional months
can be added for only $15 for an additional
30 days. You will get a web page under this FSBO section with one header
photo and up to 3
thumbnail photos that will enlarge to a larger photo when clicked. 80
words can be used to describe
your property. What is really powerful is your ability to advertise your
home in various papers and
include a website address that
directs the prospect to your particular property
for pictures and more info.
This allows you to advertise with smaller ads and you save money! The
savings can then be used to
do even more advertising or increase the frequency of your ad. Here is a
sample ad for your property
as it might appear in one of your area papers:
